Spicy Orleans
Close your eyes and you are in the Bayou. This rub is delicious on all meats, poultry and works well with vegetables too.
Smoker Cooker Orleans Rub Ingredients
4 Tbsp salt (non-iodized)
• 2 Tbsp onion powder
• 1 Tbsp black pepper
• 1 Tbsp cayenne pepper
• 1 Tbsp paprika
• 2 Tsp garlic powder
• 1½ Tsp ground thyme
• 1½ Tsp allspice
• 1½ Tsp sugar
• ¾ Tsp ground nutmeg
• ¾ Tsp ground bay leaves
This rub stores 3-6 months in a closed glass container. Makes almost 5/8 cup. A little goes a long way.
