2016 Fall Q-School Cooking Classes

with Grandmaster Chef Paul Kirk of the KCBS Hall of Fame

Q-School is holding two 1-day smoker cooker classes in the Lang Kitchen in Hoboken, Georgia in November.

Both classes will be lead by instructor Paul Kirk CWC, Ph.B., B.S.A.S., the Kansas City Baron of Barbecue, seven time world champion, and inductee into the Kansas City BBQ Society Hall of Fame.

The smoker cooker class will be held in the Lang Kitchen on Friday November 11th and Saturday November 12th.

Classes are open to backyard cooks, competition pitmasters, and professional chefs! Chef Paul's smoker cooker classes will improve your barbecue and you'll have hands-on smoker cooking on a Lang BBQ Smoker. The smoker cooking classes will cover the basics of barbecuing Brisket, Pork Butt, Pork Ribs, Chicken, and Sausage. Additional topics covered include; flavor profiles, BBQ rubs, fire management, BBQ fuels, BBQ sauce, and contest presentation.

At the Q-School you will be cooking on one of our Lang BBQ Smoker models. If you already own a Lang BBQ Smoker, feel free to bring it to the class. If you wish to purchase one, we will gladly bring it to the classes for you!
